The ladies of First Baptist Church hosted the tenth annual Christmas Creations event on Friday, November 4. Christmas Creations is designed to foster fellowship among the ladies of our church and their guests and to provide an opportunity for all who attend to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas and God’s plan of salvation.
Men's Turkey Fry
This men’s event was about birds and bees––three fried turkeys and one devotional on honeybees.
About 50 men from First Baptist including friends and relatives gathered in the church basement on Thursday, Nov. 18th for the 12th annual Men’s Turkey Fry.
The men of First Baptist Church and their guests enjoyed our summer cookout on July 26th.
Summertime means grillin’ out, and men don’t need another reason than food to get together. On July 26th about 15 men and boys from First Baptist gathered for a men’s cookout in the church parking lot. The event was designed for guys to just hang out, relax in lawnchairs, eat, and get to know each other better. No program, just food and conversation. Men’s Ministry Coordinator, Matthew McKee brought the brats, burgers, and hot dogs. The men were asked to bring a side dish and chip in $3 to cover the meat and drinks, which were leftover from the VBS closing program
